In May 2018 Toowoomba Pistol Club and Pistol Australia applied to the NRA to conduct the 2020 World Action Pistol Championship. An expression of interest was submitted and a presentation was made at the 2018 WAPC. Our bid was successful and in October 2020 we will be hosting the 2020 World Action Pistol Championship. 2019 is the 60th anniversary of the formation of your Toowoomba Pistol Club. Did you know that Toowoomba Pistol Club was the second pistol club in Queensland to be formed? As most of you would be aware Toowoomba Pistol Club is holding the 2019 Pistol Australia Action Pistol National Championship. This will be held on 24th. 25th & 26th October. This will be the second time that we have held this event and we hope to make it bigger and better than last time.
